The 30th Symposium on Hydraulic Machines and Systems of the International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR) took place from March 22-25, 2021. The Chair of Fluid Systems was represented by Mr. Kuhr, Mr. Hatzissawidis and Mr. Schmitz with three presentations on the topics “Measurement and simulation of the dynamic characteristics of plain and profiled annular seals”, “Modal Decomposition of Large-and Small-Scale Cloud Cavitation” and “Upper limit for tidal turbines”. The chair was part of more than 200 participants from 4 continents.
