At the 13th International Fluid Power Conference in Aachen, the Chair of Fluid Systems was strongly represented with a total of five presentations. The presented topics reflected the diversity at the institute.

At the 13th International Fluid Power Conference in Aachen, the Chair of Fluid Systems was strongly represented with a total of five presentations.

The presented topics reflected the diversity at the institute. Sustainable Systems Design was presented as well as heat transfer in reciprocating devices, Condition Monitoring of pumps and Molecular Dynamics simulation of wall slip. The event concluded with a presentation on data management as an enabler for sustainability.

The lively discussions with colleagues from the fluid power community showed that these topics appeal to a large audience and that it was worthwhile to look beyond the scientific horizon.
