Ing.grid is open for unsolicited submissions!

New Open Access, Open Peer Review, online journal for FAIR data management issues call for papers

2022/12/01 by

The international online journal ing.grid is now accepting submissions addressing FAIR data management in engineering sciences.

With an open access policy, the journal bridges a gap in the field, offering a platform and recognition for sound scientific practice in generating research data, developing reusable tools for processing that data and curating the data to make it findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR).

The editor-in-chief, Professor Peter F. Pelz, would like to invite all the interested community to bring forward their contributions related to the seven core topics of ing.grid: data literacy, data infrastructure, data governance, data economics, data ethics, data sets, and data management software.

ing.grid recognises three submission types:

  • manuscript submission
  • software submission
  • dataset submission

ing.grid employs a novel open peer review process, fostering transparency as well as open discussion and exchange in the scientific community. Submissions are immediately published on ing.grid’s own preprint server. Peer review is performed through public review comments and author responses as well as community review comments. You can find detailed videos describing the peer review process on YouTube.

Before submitting, please make yourself familiar with our Focus & Scope and our Author Guidelines. Use our LaTeX template for preparing your submission.

ing.grid welcomes submissions at any time. As an online journal, ing.grid has a rolling publication process. Submissions are published on the preprint server. Accepted articles are published on the website after typesetting. Published articles are grouped together into quarterly issues.
