In his thesis, Kevin Merlot studied the relationship between resilience and modularity of water distribution systems. He developed a framework for dividing water networks onto modules, i.e. modularizing them, and subsequently assessed their resilience using suitable metrics. Moreover, he studied how the modularized network can perform in comparison with the original network when subjected to failure scenarios. His work contributes to the research goals of the LOEWE project emergenCITY.

We congratulate him on successfully completing his Master thesis and wish him a lot success in the future.
