We are pleased to welcome Mr. Svend Sonström as a new research associate at the Chair of Fluid Systems as of March 1, 2026.

During his time, Mr. Sonström will support the Tribology and Cavitation research group within the research focus “Designing with Fluids”. The core of his research will be the experimental investigation of the static and dynamic properties of surface-profiled, media-lubricated journal bearings.

We very much look forward to working with Mr. Sonström and wish him a successful start at the institute.
