Mr Zhengzhong Gao dedicated his master thesis to the rotordynamic calculation of revised annular gap flow test rig at the Chair for Fluid Systems. In addition to the rotordynamic behavior of the revised rotor with regard to the identification of critical speeds, his work focused on the influence of the combined axial and radial sealing gaps on the natural frequencies and system stability.
