FST at the 2025 CoRDI Conference
2025/10/01 by Michaela Leštáková
We participated in the second edition of the Conference on Research Data Infrastructure, which took place from 26 to 28 August 2025 at the RWTH Aachen University.
The FST research data management team couldn’t miss this year’s Conference on Research Data Infrastructure 2025 (CoRDI 2025) in Aachen. With over 600 participants, diverse exchange formats, inspiring talks, posters, and workshops, the conference has once again proven to be the central meeting point for everyone advancing research data management (RDM) in Germany and beyond.
We represented three projects that we are currently driving forward: NFDI4ING, Dalia, and REUNION. Our contributions spanned across different themes, from RDM education through data and knowledge visualization to RDM in experimental workflows, and highlighted transdisciplinary perspectives on RDM through cross-consortial collaboration.
Beyond presenting our own work, CoRDI 2025 offered an invaluable opportunity to connect with peers across the RDM community, share experiences, and identify new opportunities for cooperation.
The conference underlined the importance of building sustainable and interoperable infrastructures together, across the whole NFDI. For our team, it was both encouraging and motivating to see how our projects resonate with current developments and how the RDM community continues to grow. We return from Aachen with fresh insights, new collaborations in sight, and a strengthened commitment to advancing FAIR research data management practices.
