Last Friday and Saturday, the Chair of Fluid Systems welcomed 16 former doctoral researchers and staff members to its alumni meeting. This biennial event aims to foster exchange between former and current members of the chair and to provide insights into ongoing developments.

With the poster “Semantic PEA Datasheet – SPEAD for standardised, machine-readable module documentation“, a team from FST and Industrial Science generated a lot of lively discussion.

We participated in the second edition of the Conference on Research Data Infrastructure, which took place from 26 to 28 August 2025 at the RWTH Aachen University.

Four PhD students presented their work at the CCWI and took home the PhD Student Best Paper Award (and a board game!).

The NFDI4ING Conference 2025, organised by the Chair of Fluid Systems, will take place as an on-site event for the first time since the start of NFDI4ING. The conference offers an opportunity to connect, collaborate, and exchange ideas in person. We invite you to Darmstadt on September 15 and 16, 2025.

Beliebtes Bierbrau-Tutorium wird im Zeitraum 01.09.– 19.09.2025 wieder angeboten

Automatisierung begreifen und SPS-Programmierung erlernen am Beispiel des spannenden Themas „Bierbrauen“ – das wird möglich im Tutorium „Digitalisieren einer vollautomatischen Brauanlage“. Dieses wird zu Beginn jedes Semesters angeboten und steht bis zu 8 Studierenden zur Verfügung. Für die nächste Durchführung sind noch Plätze frei.
