Digitalization is not a dry subject at the FST

After many years of conceptual design and construction, the first tutorial was held at FST's own beer brewing system. A total of four students had a first-hand experience of automation and digitalization. In the end, they put their learnings into practice when brewing their own beer.

Human behavior is a significant factor in the planning and management of water infrastructures. Agent-based models can be used to model such behavior. Researchers of the Chair of Fluid Systems (FST) and the German Aerospace Center (DLR), investigate how such models are built and validated in their recent research paper.

The Chair of Fluid Systems showed strong presence at the NFDI4Ing conference 2022. The conference motto was “Unifying the Understanding of RDM in Engineering Science”, took place on October 26 and 27 and was hosted by WZL of the RWTH Aachen University.
